This month we will be having fun learning about shadows and light. We will also celebrate Valentine's Day with a party and will create some interesting cards.

You can help this month by reading with your child. Sit with him/her and watch as they read. How accurate is your child's reading? Can they answer questions about the text they are reading?

Work with your child on counting money. Give him/her a handful of change and have them count it out. Frequent practice will really help with this.

PLEASE SEND VALENTINE'S DAY CARDS BY FEB. 14TH!

WE HAVE 24 STUDENTS IN OUR CLASS. PLEASE JUST WRITE "FROM:__________" (AND HAVE YOUR CHILD WRITE HIS/HER NAME) ON THE VALENTINE CARD. THIS REALLY SAVES TIME WHEN PASSING THEM OUT!
